What are some modern evangelism techniques? Well, how about time travel? Time travel has always been thought of as a mysterious and futuristic concept. You see it in the movies where they travel back to the past in order to change their life in the future. While time travel may be just a fictional concept, changing the future isn't.
This article is going to focus on how to change the future with modern evangelism techniques.
How to change the future
You can change the future by altering your life or someone else's in a dramatic way. You can change the future for good or bad. Think of how many generations of people could be saved and changed by stopping one person from taking their own life.
If you think about it, the future is changed by the decisions we make every day. Think about the person that led Billy Ghram to Jesus. He impacted hundreds of millions of people that will go on to impact hundreds of millions, if not billions more.
Every time you help someone in a dramatic way, you are changing the future. Whenever you witness to someone, just think of the multitudes of people that can be impacted by that one person. I once preached at a meeting where more than 3,000 people said the prayer of salvation. This doesn't sound like much, but the impact it made is still being measured today.
There were many testimonies that came from these people, but about one year later I heard that one of those people became so passionate that they planted 10 house churches all on their own. Each church had between 5 and 15 people in it. I have no idea how many people he impacted. And then those that he impacted, how many did they impact? It's like dominoes, once one falls it creates a chain reaction.
This meeting was also close to a market that had tens of thousands of people that could hear the entire message through the loudspeaker. It also got local news and media coverage that was sent to millions of people. It also led to us starting a TV show that is broadcasted to millions of people every day. That one meeting impacted way more people than I will ever know.

Blogging
If you are reading this you most likely have a story to tell. You may not be the best writer, but you can at least put your story online so other people can read it. Many people struggle with the idea of writing and never get started because they think it's a talent.
Sure there are people that are talented in writing. There are also people talented in speaking. We can all speak and we can all write. Some are just better than others. I am not talented in writing, but that doesn't stop me. The more you do something the better you become.
If you are passionate about changing people's lives, then you can overcome any obstacles you face. I used to be very timid about writing, but after a few years of practice, I can write an article like this in about 1 to 2 hours, depending on the amount of research. If you have the desire, you can too.
Advertising
We see ads all over the place. Billboards, vehicles, Google Search, Youtube, Facebook, etc. They are everywhere. Why is that? Because they work. People wouldn't do it if it didn't work. Why can't we use advertising for evangelism and help change people's lives?
It may cost a lot to advertise for a well-known product, but that's because multiple companies are bidding on the same keywords. It will be a lot less to advertise for keywords that aren't affiliated with making money. Look at the cost below circled in red for the highlighted keywords. $0.32 per click isn't too bad. You could reach 1000 people for $320. You are going to tithe anyway, so why don't you spend some of it on advertising?

Social Media
Social media is a huge tool to use for modern evangelism. You can write an article or post a video and ask your friends to share. This can get your story or agenda out to a lot of people in a short amount of time. You can reach people in Pakistan without having to risk your life.
Technology is a game-changer for evangelism. Think back 100 years ago. It could take an entire year to reach the same amount of people you could reach in a day, with modern technology. I am able to train thousands of peopleloudspeakerIt's with just the click of a button.
